The round is led by HV Capital, with renewed support from Y Combinator, redalpine and HPI Ventures. This confidence reinforces our mission to set the new standard for digital documentation - in care, healthcare and beyond.

The beginning: a personal story

voize was founded in 2020 by twins Fabio and Marcel Schmidberger and Erik Ziegler - for a very personal reason. When our grandfather moved into a nursing home, we realized for the first time how much time nursing staff have to spend on documentation - and how little time is often left for actual care.

We asked ourselves: Why can't you just do this by voice? This question was the starting point for voize.

The solution: artificial intelligence that relieves care staff

Our specially developed language AI understands technical terms, dialects and non-native speakers and automatically structures spoken sentences into complete care documentation. Nursing staff can easily record their reports on their smartphone - quickly, safely and directly in the situation. voize offers interfaces to the existing Connext Vivendi and MedifoxDAN nursing documentation systems. Spoken entries are transferred directly from voize. This makes the introduction of voize particularly easy, and the figures speak for themselves:

• over 600 care facilities use voize every day
• Over 50,000 nursing staff are already working with our solution
• 39 minutes less documentation work per shift for a nurse according to a pilot study with Charité and more time for actual care and humanity

The next step: expansion into hospitals

With the new financing, we are now starting our expansion into the hospital sector. Together with our partner Recare, we are using our technology in discharge management for the first time - and other areas of application in hospitals will soon follow.

Because there, too, specialists are faced with the daily challenge of fulfilling extensive documentation obligations - while the shortage of skilled workers continues to increase. Our vision is clear: we want to make documentation as easy as talking.

The vision: voize makes life easier for people in all industries

Our vision at voize is to create long-term relief in all areas where documentation distracts from what is actually important. So voize is now not only being used in care, but our voice AI is also already being used in the technical testing industry.

At TÜV, voize is now used for the documentation of general vehicle inspections - and on a large scale: inspectors use our solution for almost 30% of all vehicle inspections in Germany.

Instead of working with a clipboard and paper or complex input masks, the test engineers record their observations directly in voize - quickly and directly on the vehicle without having to pick up a smartphone. Our AI automatically recognizes recorded defects and creates structured inspection reports. This saves time and increases the quality of the documentation.

This cross-industry application shows that voize is a platform for simple, precise documentation by voice.
