Study proves: voize revolutionizes care documentation
New study results show that innovative technologies such as voize have a measurably positive impact on the everyday work of caregivers. A study, carried out by the Nuremberg Nursing Practice Centre in cooperation with the practice partner Diakoneo, sheds light on the potential of voize to relieve the burden on nursing staff and to improve patient care.

Care documentation is an indispensable part of care practice, but is an increasingly complex and demanding task for care staff. Recording and documenting important care information is crucial for the quality of care and the safety of residents. However, the process can often be laborious and take valuable time away from direct care.
However, in view of the growing pressure in the healthcare sector and the increasing demands on care staff, it is essential that innovative solutions are found to make care documentation more efficient and less stressful. New technologies, especially AI-supported voice assistance systems such as voize, can make a decisive contribution here.
The groundbreaking study, which was conducted by the Pflegepraxiszentrum Nürnberg in close cooperation with the IDC/SRH Wilhelm Löhe Hochschule Fürth and the IREM/Technische Hochschule Würzburg-Schweinfurt, represents a significant step towards more efficient and less burdensome care documentation. The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of voize on the day-to-day work of nursing staff. The study is based on the ELSI criteria (ethical, legal, social implications), which enable a holistic evaluation of the technology. Not only technical aspects were considered, but also health economic, practical care and social implications were examined.
voize in a practical test
The research question at the heart of the study was: "What impact does an AI-supported language assistance system have on the day-to-day work of care staff?" In order to investigate this question, a practical research approach was chosen, for the implementation of which the Forchheim Competence Center as an inpatient long-term care facility and suitable technical prerequisites provided a suitable practical framework. First, training workshops were held with the staff to familiarize them with the voize app. This was followed by an eight-week observation period during which the nursing staff were able to voluntarily participate in digital field surveys. The focus was on the actual use of the voize app in various areas of care documentation, including positioning protocols, chair movement control, vital sign control, wound management and doctor visits.
The app provides a good user experience and is even above average to excellent compared to other studies on various products (e.g. websites, software, social networks, web stores).
At the end of this observation period, the nursing staff were quantitatively surveyed to evaluate the function, usability and benefits of the voize app as well as the implementation strategy used. The results of this study are significant.
They show that the use of voize not only leads to a significant time saving of 18 minutes on average in care documentation, but also to a noticeable reduction in the workload for nursing staff. The app's user-friendliness, which was rated as high, and the high level of acceptance among nursing staff testify to its potential to sustainably improve nursing practice.
Study results give a clear signal
This study marks a milestone in care practice by providing sound scientific evidence on the impact of voize. The positive results show that new technologies such as voize not only offer a solution to the challenges of care documentation, but also bring real added value for care staff and the quality of resident care.
Overall, the results of the study illustrate the great potential of voize to revolutionize care documentation and sustainably improve working conditions for care staff.
