The KfW Entrepreneurs' Award honors innovative companies from all over Germany. The prizes were awarded at a festive awards ceremony in Berlin. One company from each federal state was awarded a prize. voize emerged from the competition as the state winner in Brandenburg. Robert Habeck, Minister of Economic Affairs and Vice-Chancellor, declared as patron of the KfW Award:

"Courageous founders ignite the spark of progress for sustainable change in society and the economy and strengthen SMEs. The award-winning teams offer promising solutions and prove that our country is full of ideas.

We are delighted to receive this award, which reinforces our efforts to reduce the burden on nursing care. As founders, we are convinced that innovation does not have to be complicated and that even a simple change, namely simply speaking documentation instead of typing it in, can really make a big difference. A variety of innovative measures are needed to tackle the care crisis in our society. We are convinced that technological solutions are an important part of this. With the AI-based voice assistant voize, we want to relieve the burden on care so that it remains human even in times of a shortage of skilled workers - for both carers and care recipients.

The winners were selected in a multi-stage process by an experienced jury of experts from KfW, promotional institutions, business, politics and the media. They evaluated the business ideas according to their degree of innovation, creativity and assumption of social or ecological responsibility. The competition was open to companies from all sectors founded in 2018 or later.

As the national winner, voize has also qualified for the audience winner prize. This comes with a further 5,000 euros in prize money. Voting for the audience winner is open until Friday, November 10, 2023.
